ISO 27001
We are excited to announce that as of December 2024, LoanPro is now ISO 27001 certified. This achievement is essential for our commitment to delighting our customers by keeping their information secure while also attracting new clients worldwide.
So, what is ISO 27001, exactly? Also known as IEC 27001, this international certification is the world’s most recognized standard to manage information security. The certification is awarded by ISO (International Organization for Standardization), international organization of experts in countless fields headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. It examines not just the a security system’s technology, but also the people working with it and the policies they follow.
In order to be ISO 27001 certified, our Audit, Process & Compliance team worked one-on-one with A-LIGN (an independent, third-party authorized ISO auditor), formed an internal Security Committee, created and implemented security KPIs and an Information Security Management System, and performed an internal audit of all our existing security controls to improve them.
